🌱 Phytosanitary Regulations · Shipping Live Organisms
At MAKER-MUR, we take compliance with Spanish and European phytosanitary and customs legislation very seriously. This page explains our policy for shipping live items and the legal framework that supports it.
🚫📦🌱 Disclaimer
MAKER-MUR does not ship any live organisms —animal or plant— outside of Spanish territory.
Products from the VIDA collection may include a plant or seeds as an optional decorative element. This live content is available exclusively for shipments within Spain. International orders will receive the 3D printed product without any plant or animal element.
✅ What does your order include?
- 🇪🇸 Spain: 3D printed pot + plant or seeds (optional, indicate in order notes)
- 🌍 International: 3D printed pot only · no live organisms are shipped. Includes a small decorative 3D printed plant that, while not replacing the beauty of a real plant, displays the product in the same way and allows you to enjoy the aesthetics of the VIDA collection anywhere in the world.
⚖️ Applicable Legal Framework
Our policy is based on the following official regulations:
-
Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) — Phytosanitary regulations for the import and export of plants:
www.mapa.gob.es · Plant Health -
CITES Spain — Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora:
www.miteco.gob.es · CITES -
Tax Agency (AEAT) — Customs restrictions on the import of plant products:
www.agenciatributaria.es · Customs -
Regulation (EU) 2016/2031 — Plant health in the European Union:
EUR-Lex · EU Regulation 2016/2031
🌍 Exotic and Invasive Species
The introduction of exotic plant or animal species into countries other than their origin can cause serious damage to the local ecosystem and is expressly prohibited by international legislation. Non-compliance with these regulations may lead to administrative and criminal penalties for the importer.
For this reason, and in strict compliance with the law, MAKER-MUR will not include any live organism in international shipments under any circumstances, regardless of the customer's request.

⚠️ Important note: The included plant —real or decorative 3D printed— is an exclusive complement to the VIDA collection and is not interchangeable for any other product or financial compensation. For orders within Spain, the customer can choose between a real plant, a decorative 3D printed plant, or no plant. No other element is added to the order under any circumstances.
